MYP Community Project

 

All 8th-grade (MYP Year 3) students participate in and complete the Community Project.

Through this project, students investigate, plan, take action, and reflect on an issue in their local community. The Community Project emphasizes community and service, encouraging students to explore their rights and responsibilities while implementing meaningful service as action. It provides an opportunity for students to recognize needs in different communities and address them through thoughtful, hands-on service learning.

At the conclusion of the project, students participate in an exhibition showcase, where they present their projects, share highlights from their process journals, discuss the skills they developed, and reflect on their overall learning journey.
