Acceptable Use Policy

•    Students may use district computer technology for educational purposes only.

•    Students will exhibit “Character Counts” attitudes and behaviors, including in-class, in-campus, and on-line

•    Students will obey District’s security and content-limiting safeguards

•    Student will maintain the privacy of District account information

•    Students will maintain the existing settings, configuration, or operations of District computer unless a teacher or administrator guides the students in making changes for appropriate instructional purposes

•    Students will maintain moderate amounts of use and data transfer when using the District’s computers or networks

•    Students will use computers and networks responsibly to ensure hardware and systems continue to operate as the District configured them.

•    Students will keep District’s computers and networks clean and free of unauthorized software or devices.

•    Students will obey all federal, state, or local laws and Board policies and administrative rules related to technology use or personal conduct while using District’s technology.
